A postmark is an official stamp/mark put on letters or parcels by the postal service, usually showing where and when the item was accepted or processed, and often cancelling the postage stamp; as a verb, it means to stamp an item with such a mark.
पोस्टमार्क डाक विभाग द्वारा पत्र/पार्सल आदि पर लगाया गया आधिकारिक निशान/मुहर है, जिसमें आम तौर पर स्थान और प्राप्ति/प्रसंस्करण की तारीख-समय होता है और अक्सर डाक टिकट को रद्द भी करता है; क्रिया के रूप में इसका अर्थ है किसी डाक वस्तु पर यह पोस्टमार्क लगाना।
