“Poled” is the past form of “pole” and commonly means moving something (like a boat/raft) by pushing with a long pole; it can also mean giving plants support with poles, carrying/handling something using poles, stirring molten glass with a pole, striking a ball very hard, precisely identifying something through a telescope, or (in materials science) polarizing a substance by aligning its dipoles to induce piezoelectricity.
