Definition
In biology and botany, 'palmated' describes a structure whose parts spread out from a central point like the fingers of a hand, or (in animals) toes/fingers joined by webbing.
जीवविज्ञान और वनस्पतिविज्ञान में 'palmated' ऐसे अंग/संरचना को कहते हैं जिसके भाग हाथ की उँगलियों की तरह एक केंद्रीय बिंदु से फैलते हों, या (जानवरों में) जिनकी उँगलियाँ/पंजे झिल्ली (webbing) से जुड़े हों।
