पैडलॉक एक हटाया जा सकने वाला ताला होता है जिसमें U-आकार की धातु की कुंडी/कमान (shackle) होती है जो ताले के शरीर में बंद होकर फाटक, लॉकर, जंजीर या दरवाज़े को सुरक्षित करती है; इसे चाबी या नंबर वाले संयोजन से खोला जाता है।
