over- उपसर्ग + dye से बना; शाब्दिक अर्थ ‘मौजूदा रंग के ऊपर से रंगना/दोबारा रंगना’।
Definition
To dye fabric or another material that already has a colour by adding a new dye layer, often to change the tone, deepen the shade, or correct the colour.
किसी पहले से रंगी हुई वस्तु/कपड़े पर दूसरा रंग चढ़ाकर उसे दोबारा रंगना, ताकि रंग की टोन बदले, रंग गहरा हो, या रंग-सुधार किया जा सके।
