From Middle English outwardes/outward, formed from out + -ward(s), meaning 'toward the outside'; later standardized as outwards (especially in British English).
मध्य अंग्रेज़ी outwardes/outward से; out + -ward(s) (अर्थ: 'बाहर की ओर') से बना। बाद में (विशेषकर ब्रिटिश अंग्रेज़ी में) outwards रूप प्रचलित/मानकीकृत हुआ।
Definition
Used as an adverb to describe movement or direction away from the center/inside (e.g., from a room to outside), or to describe something that appears a certain way only externally (on the surface).
