Origin & History
From outlandish (originally meaning ‘foreign; from out of the land’) + -ness; outlandish is recorded from the late 16th century, later developing the sense ‘strange, bizarre’.
‘outlandish’ (जिसका मूल अर्थ ‘विदेशी; देश के बाहर का’ था) + प्रत्यय ‘-ness’ से बना; ‘outlandish’ का प्रयोग 16वीं शताब्दी के उत्तरार्ध से मिलता है और बाद में इसका अर्थ ‘अजीब/विचित्र’ के रूप में विकसित हुआ।

Outlandishness is the quality of seeming very strange, unusual, or bizarre, often because something is far from what is considered normal or acceptable in appearance, behavior, or ideas.
