Origin & History
From out- (‘beyond, surpassing’) + flank (side of an army/body), originally a military term meaning to move beyond an enemy’s flank.
यह out- (अर्थ: ‘से आगे/पार, पीछे छोड़ देना’) + flank (सेना/शरीर का ‘पार्श्व/बगल’) से बना है; मूलतः सैन्य शब्द, जिसका अर्थ दुश्मन के पार्श्व के आगे निकलकर उसे घेरना/चकमा देना था।

Outflanks means to move around the side of an opposing force to attack from the side or rear, or more generally to outmaneuver someone and gain a strategic advantage.
Outflanks का अर्थ है विरोधी की बगल/पार्श्व (flank) के चारों ओर घूमकर पीछे या किनारे से दबाव/आक्रमण करना; या व्यापक रूप से किसी प्रतिद्वन्द्वी को रणनीति से मात देकर बढ़त हासिल करना।
