अंग्रेज़ी out + -age से; मूलतः तकनीकी/यूटिलिटी संदर्भों में किसी प्रणाली के कुछ समय के लिए बंद रहने की अवधि के लिए, बाद में अन्य सेवाओं तथा मापी गई कमी/हानि के अर्थ में भी प्रयोग।
Definition
An outage is a period when a service or system stops working for a while—most commonly electricity, internet, phones, or a website; it can also mean a measured loss/shortfall of goods during storage or transportation.
आउटेज वह अवधि है जब कोई सेवा या प्रणाली कुछ समय के लिए काम करना बंद कर दे—अक्सर बिजली, इंटरनेट, फोन या वेबसाइट; इसका अर्थ भंडारण या परिवहन के दौरान वस्तुओं की मापी गई कमी/हानि भी हो सकता है।
