From Latin organum (‘instrument, tool’), from Greek organon (‘tool, instrument’); later used for bodily parts with specific functions and for the pipe instrument.

Definition
An organ is a specialized structure in a human, animal, or plant that performs a particular job (such as the heart pumping blood or the lungs helping in breathing). The word also refers to a large keyboard instrument that produces sound through pipes, and sometimes to an institution or publication that represents and communicates the views of a group.
ऑर्गन/अंग (organ) शरीर (मनुष्य/पशु/पौधे) की वह विशिष्ट संरचना है जो कोई खास काम करती है (जैसे हृदय रक्त पंप करता है या फेफड़े सांस लेने में मदद करते हैं)। यह शब्द पाइपों से ध्वनि उत्पन्न करने वाले बड़े कीबोर्ड वाद्य (पाइप ऑर्गन) के लिए भी आता है, और कभी-कभी किसी संस्था/प्रकाशन के लिए भी जो किसी समूह के विचार व्यक्त करता है।
