From Chinese wūlóng (烏龍/乌龙) meaning “black dragon,” a name applied to this style of tea; adopted into English in the 19th century.

Definition
Oolong is a semi-oxidized tea made from the leaves of the tea plant (Camellia sinensis), processed so it is neither fully green nor fully black; its flavor can range from light and floral to rich and toasty depending on how it is made.
ऊलोंग चाय (ओलॉन्ग) चाय के पौधे (Camellia sinensis) की पत्तियों से बनी अर्ध-ऑक्सीकरण (semi-oxidized) वाली चाय है, जिसका प्रसंस्करण इसे न तो पूरी तरह ग्रीन टी बनाता है और न ही पूरी तरह ब्लैक टी; इसके स्वाद हल्के-फूलों जैसे से लेकर गहरे, भुने (toasty) स्वाद तक हो सकते हैं।
