Definition
Nyx is the ancient Greek goddess who embodies Night, often portrayed as a primordial, powerful deity associated with darkness, sleep, dreams, and the mysteries of the night; in modern English it may also be used poetically to refer to night itself.
नाइक्स (Nyx) प्राचीन यूनानी पौराणिक कथाओं में रात्रि की देवी और रात्रि का मानवीकरण है; इसे एक आदिम व अत्यंत शक्तिशाली देवी के रूप में दर्शाया जाता है, जिसका संबंध अँधकार, निद्रा, स्वप्न और रात्रि के रहस्यों से है; आधुनिक अंग्रेज़ी में कभी-कभी इसे काव्यात्मक रूप से स्वयं ‘रात’ के लिए भी इस्तेमाल किया जाता है।
