Formed from non- (‘not’) + caustic (from Greek kaustikos ‘burning’, from kaiein ‘to burn’) + -ally (adverb-forming).
यह non- (‘न/बिना’) + caustic (यूनानी kaustikos ‘जलाने वाला’, kaiein ‘जलाना’ से) + -ally (क्रिया-विशेषण बनाने वाला प्रत्यय) से बना है।
Definition
Used to describe doing or saying something without causticity—i.e., without corrosive chemical effect or without harsh, cutting, sarcastic criticism.
किसी कार्य या कथन को बिना ‘कास्टिक’ हुए वर्णित करने के लिए प्रयोग—अर्थात न तो रासायनिक रूप से क्षयकारी/दाहक तरीके से और न ही वाणी/आलोचना में कटु, चुभते, व्यंग्यपूर्ण ढंग से।
