Definition
The Nile is a major African river, historically central to Egyptian civilization, formed chiefly by the confluence of the White Nile and the Blue Nile, and it supports agriculture and settlements along its valley.
नील नदी अफ्रीका की एक प्रमुख नदी है, जो ऐतिहासिक रूप से मिस्र की सभ्यता के लिए अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण रही है। यह मुख्यतः श्वेत नील (White Nile) और नीली नील (Blue Nile) के संगम से बनती है और अपनी घाटी के किनारे कृषि तथा बस्तियों को सहारा देती है।
