Definition
A nebuliser is a device that turns a liquid (often medication or another solution) into a very fine mist (aerosol) using compressed air/oxygen or ultrasonic vibration, so it can be inhaled through the mouth or nose, typically to treat breathing problems (e.g., asthma, COPD).
