Definition
A naevus is a usually harmless (benign) localized skin lesion—often pigmented and sometimes raised—present from birth or appearing later; commonly called a birthmark or mole.
नेवस (naevus) त्वचा पर स्थानीय, आम तौर पर हानिरहित (सौम्य) घाव/दाग होता है—अक्सर रंजित (गहरा रंग) और कभी-कभी उभरा हुआ—जो जन्म से हो सकता है या बाद में भी बन सकता है; इसे आम भाषा में जन्मचिह्न या तिल कहा जाता है।
