Definition
A microspore is a small, haploid reproductive spore formed by meiosis; in seed plants it develops into the male gametophyte and typically becomes a pollen grain.
माइक्रोस्पोर (सूक्ष्मबीजाणु) एक छोटा, हैप्लॉइड प्रजनन बीजाणु है जो अर्धसूत्री विभाजन (meiosis) से बनता है; बीजीय पौधों में यह नर गैमीटोफाइट में विकसित होता है और प्रायः परागकण बन जाता है।
