Definition
Used to describe a person who is absent and cannot be found or contacted, especially in military contexts (a soldier not accounted for after combat), and by extension in everyday use for someone or something unexpectedly missing.
इसका उपयोग ऐसे व्यक्ति के लिए किया जाता है जो अनुपस्थित हो और जिसका पता न चले या संपर्क न हो पाए—विशेषकर सैन्य संदर्भ में (लड़ाई के बाद किसी सैनिक का हिसाब न मिलना); और सामान्य बोलचाल में भी किसी व्यक्ति/वस्तु के अचानक गायब होने के लिए।
