Definition
Maize is a tall cereal plant (Zea mays) that produces large ears of kernels and is used as food (corn, sweet corn), animal feed, and for products like corn flour and corn oil.
मक्का (Zea mays) एक लंबा अनाज-उत्पादक पौधा है, जिसमें दानों से भरे बड़े भुट्टे लगते हैं। इसका उपयोग भोजन (कॉर्न/स्वीट कॉर्न), पशु-चारे तथा मक्के का आटा/कॉर्नमील और मक्का तेल जैसे उत्पादों में होता है।
