Macrostructure refers to the large-scale, visible arrangement or form of a material or biological tissue, observed without a microscope or at very low magnification (about 10× or less), often contrasted with microstructure.
मैक्रोस्ट्रक्चर किसी पदार्थ, धातु/मिश्रधातु या जैविक ऊतक की बड़े पैमाने पर दिखाई देने वाली समग्र संरचना/बनावट को कहते हैं, जिसे नंगी आँख से या बहुत कम आवर्धन (लगभग 10× या उससे कम) पर देखा जाता है; यह प्रायः माइक्रोस्ट्रक्चर के विपरीत माना जाता है।
