Definition
Lubrication is the process of applying oil, grease, or another lubricant between moving parts to reduce friction, prevent wear, dissipate heat, and enable smoother motion in machines and joints.
स्नेहन वह प्रक्रिया है जिसमें चलने वाले भागों के बीच तेल, ग्रीस या अन्य स्नेहक लगाया जाता है ताकि घर्षण कम हो, घिसावट रुके, गर्मी कम/विसर्जित हो और मशीनों व जोड़ों की गति अधिक सुचारू हो सके।
