Definition
Ligation is the act of tying something tightly; in medicine it most commonly means tying off a blood vessel, duct, or tube with a thread or clip to stop bleeding or block flow.
लिगेशन का अर्थ है किसी चीज़ को कसकर बाँधना; चिकित्सा में इसका सबसे सामान्य अर्थ रक्तस्राव रोकने या प्रवाह रोकने के लिए रक्त-नलिका, नली/डक्ट या ट्यूब को धागे या क्लिप से बाँधकर बंद करना होता है।
