Definition
Khula is a type of Islamic divorce in which the wife seeks dissolution of the marriage, typically by returning the mahr (dower) or offering compensation, and it is finalized through agreement or a court/authority’s decision.
ख़ुला इस्लामी क़ानून में तलाक़ का एक प्रकार है जिसमें पत्नी विवाह-विच्छेद की मांग करती है; अक्सर यह महर (दहेज/विवाह-उपहार) लौटाकर या कुछ प्रतिफल देकर होता है, और इसे आपसी सहमति या अदालत/प्राधिकरण के निर्णय से अंतिम रूप दिया जाता है।
