Definition
Isoclines are lines drawn on charts, maps, or graphs that connect points where a chosen quantity is the same; in geography and geophysics they often mean lines of equal magnetic inclination (dip), and in mathematics/physics they can indicate places with the same slope or gradient.
आइसोक्लाइन वे रेखाएँ हैं जो किसी चार्ट, मानचित्र या ग्राफ पर उन बिंदुओं को जोड़ती हैं जहाँ किसी चुनी हुई राशि का मान समान होता है; भूगोल/भूभौतिकी में यह अक्सर समान चुंबकीय झुकाव (डिप) वाली रेखाओं के लिए कहा जाता है, और गणित/भौतिकी में समान ढलान या ग्रेडिएंट दर्शाने के लिए भी प्रयुक्त होता है।
