From Latin intolerabilis, from in- ‘not’ + tolerabilis ‘that can be endured’ (from tolerare ‘to endure’).

लैटिन intolerabilis से, जहाँ in- का अर्थ ‘नहीं’ और tolerabilis का अर्थ ‘जो सहा जा सके’ (tolerare ‘सहन करना’ से) है।
