Definition
Interphase is the interval between major phases—especially, in cell biology, the stage between cell divisions when the cell grows, replicates its DNA, and prepares for mitosis (including G1, S, and G2 phases).
इंटरफ़ेज़ दो मुख्य अवस्थाओं/चरणों के बीच का अंतराल है—विशेषकर कोशिका जीवविज्ञान में, यह कोशिका-विभाजन के बीच का चरण है जिसमें कोशिका बढ़ती है, डीएनए की प्रतिकृति बनाती है और माइटोसिस के लिए तैयारी करती है (जिसमें G1, S और G2 चरण शामिल हैं)।
