यह interjection + -al + -ly से बना है; interjection शब्द लैटिन interiectio (“बीच में डाला हुआ/बीच में जोड़ा गया”) से आया है, जो intericere (inter- “बीच में” + iacere “फेंकना”) से बना है।
Definition
Used to describe speech or writing that expresses sudden feeling (surprise, pain, joy, disgust, etc.) with an interjection like “oh!”, “ah!”, “wow!”, or “ouch!” rather than with a full sentence.
ऐसे बोलने या लिखने का ढंग बताने के लिए प्रयोग होता है जिसमें अचानक भाव (आश्चर्य, दर्द, खुशी, घृणा आदि) को “oh!”, “ah!”, “wow!”, “ouch!” जैसे विस्मयादिबोधक शब्दों से व्यक्त किया जाए, पूर्ण वाक्य से नहीं।
