Definition
Intercolumniation is the measured space between two neighboring columns (usually measured from column center to column center or between their axes), used as a key proportion in architectural design—especially in Greek and Roman classical orders.
इंटरकोलम्निएशन (स्तंभ-अंतर) दो पास-पास के स्तंभों के बीच की मापी गई दूरी/अंतराल को कहते हैं (आम तौर पर स्तंभों के केंद्र से केंद्र या उनके अक्षों के बीच), जो विशेषकर यूनानी-रोमी शास्त्रीय स्थापत्य में अनुपात और विन्यास तय करने का महत्वपूर्ण मानदंड है।
