From Middle English innage, from in + -age (a noun-forming suffix), originally referring to the action/amount of putting goods “in” (especially into a ship).
मध्य अंग्रेज़ी innage से; in + -age (संज्ञा बनाने वाला प्रत्यय) से बना, जिसका मूल अर्थ सामान को “अंदर” रखने की क्रिया/मात्रा (विशेषकर जहाज़ में) था।
Definition
Innage refers to the amount of cargo that is put into (stowed in) a ship’s hold, and by extension it can mean the stowage itself or a fee/charge related to stowing goods. It is a rare, chiefly historical maritime/commerce term.
इनाज (innage) का अर्थ जहाज़ के होल्ड/कोठरी में रखा (स्टो) किया गया माल की मात्रा होता है; व्यापक अर्थ में यह स्टोवेज की क्रिया या माल रखने/भरने से संबंधित शुल्क भी हो सकता है। यह एक दुर्लभ और मुख्यतः ऐतिहासिक समुद्री/व्यापारिक शब्द है।
