Formed from inelastic + -ly; inelastic comes from Latin in- (‘not’) + elastic (from Greek elastos ‘ductile, flexible’), popularized in scientific English.
inelastic + -ly से बना; inelastic लैटिन in- (‘नहीं’) + elastic से आया (elastic ग्रीक elastos ‘लचीला/तन्य’ से), और वैज्ञानिक अंग्रेज़ी में प्रचलित हुआ।

In a way that does not return to the original shape after being stretched, pressed, or deformed; also used in economics for demand/supply that changes very little when price changes.
