लेटिन (उत्तरवर्ती) immanentia से, जो immanens (भीतर उपस्थित/भीतर बना रहने वाला) से बना है; यह in- (भीतर) + manere (रहना/टिके रहना) से व्युत्पन्न है।
Definition
Immanency refers to the quality of being present and operating within something (such as nature, the universe, or the human mind), rather than standing outside it; in theology it often contrasts with transcendence, describing the divine as dwelling within creation.
इमैनेन्सी (अंतर्निहितता/आन्तरिकता) का अर्थ है किसी वस्तु, प्रकृति, ब्रह्मांड या चेतना के भीतर ही उपस्थित और क्रियाशील होना; धर्मशास्त्र/दर्शन में यह प्रायः 'ट्रान्सेन्डेन्स' (परातीतता) के विपरीत माना जाता है, जहाँ ईश्वर को सृष्टि के भीतर निवास करता हुआ समझा जाता है।
