Definition
An idyll is (1) a short pastoral poem or prose piece in the tradition of Theocritus, (2) an episode or period of simple, carefree happiness—often in the countryside, and (3) a pastoral or sentimental musical piece.
Idyll का अर्थ है: (1) थियोक्रिटस की परंपरा में लिखी गई छोटी ग्रामीण/पास्तोरल कविता या गद्य-रचना, (2) सरल, निश्चिंत और सुखद अनुभव या समय—अक्सर गाँव/प्रकृति की पृष्ठभूमि में, और (3) ग्रामीण या भावुक (sentimental) प्रकृति की संगीत-रचना।
