Definition
A hummingbird is a tiny, brightly colored bird found mainly in North and South America. It feeds largely on flower nectar (and also small insects), can hover in midair, and beats its wings extremely fast, sometimes creating a humming sound.
हमिंगबर्ड (गुनगुनाने वाला पक्षी) अमेरिका महाद्वीपों में पाया जाने वाला बहुत छोटा, अक्सर चमकीले रंगों वाला पक्षी है। यह मुख्यतः फूलों के मधु (और कभी-कभी छोटे कीड़ों) पर निर्भर रहता है, हवा में स्थिर होकर उड़ सकता है, और इसके पंख बहुत तेज़ी से फड़फड़ाते हैं, जिससे कभी-कभी गुनगुनाने जैसी आवाज़ आती है।
