Definition
A “hugbox” is a forum, group, or community—often on the internet—where people provide each other constant emotional reassurance and positive feedback, and where disagreement or critical discussion is minimized or unwelcome. The term is often used critically to imply an echo chamber of comfort rather than honest debate.
