From the older belief that a person's temperament was influenced by the 'temperature' of their blood; 'hot' implied passionate or prone to anger. Recorded in English from the 17th century.
पुराने विश्वास से कि स्वभाव पर रक्त के ‘गरम’ या ‘ठंडे’ होने का प्रभाव पड़ता है; ‘गरम’ का अर्थ जोशीला या जल्दी गुस्सा होने वाला माना जाता था। अंग्रेज़ी में इसका प्रयोग 17वीं शताब्दी से मिलता है।
