From Middle English horizon, from Latin horizon (horizōn), from Greek horizōn (kyklos) meaning “bounding (circle)”, from horizein “to bound, to divide”.
यह शब्द मध्य अंग्रेज़ी horizon से आया, जो लैटिन horizon (horizōn) से और वह यूनानी horizōn (kyklos) ‘सीमा बाँधने वाला (वृत्त)’ से; मूल यूनानी क्रिया horizein का अर्थ ‘सीमा निर्धारित करना/विभाजित करना’ था।
Definition
Horizons are the apparent lines where the sky seems to touch the land or sea; figuratively, they also mean the boundaries or extent of someone’s understanding, interests, or opportunities.
