Definition
A hexapod is any organism or machine that has six legs; in biology it most commonly refers to insects (and related six-legged arthropods), and in robotics it refers to a six-legged walking robot designed for stability and rough terrain.
हेक्सापोड वह कोई भी जीव या मशीन है जिसके छह पैर हों; जीव-विज्ञान में यह प्रायः कीटों (और उनसे संबंधित छह-पैर वाले आर्थ्रोपोडों) के लिए प्रयुक्त होता है, और रोबोटिक्स में यह स्थिरता तथा असमतल ज़मीन पर चलने हेतु बनाए गए छह-पैर वाले चलने वाले रोबोट को दर्शाता है।
