Definition
A hematocytometer is a specialized microscope slide with an etched grid and a chamber of known depth, used in laboratories to count red and white blood cells (and sometimes platelets or other cells) per unit volume.
हेमैटोसायटोमीटर एक विशेष माइक्रोस्कोप स्लाइड (काउंटिंग चैम्बर) है जिस पर जालीदार ग्रिड बना होता है और जिसकी चैम्बर-गहराई ज्ञात होती है; इसका उपयोग प्रयोगशालाओं में लाल व श्वेत रक्त कोशिकाओं (और कभी-कभी प्लेटलेट्स या अन्य कोशिकाओं) की प्रति इकाई आयतन गणना के लिए किया जाता है।
