From Persian/modern Iranian toponymy: Hasanlu is the place-name used for the site; it is commonly rendered in English as Hasanlu/Hasanlū and also as Tepe Hasanlu (“Hasanlu mound”).
फ़ारसी/आधुनिक ईरानी स्थान-नाम परंपरा से: हसनलू इस स्थल का स्थान-नाम है; अंग्रेज़ी में इसे सामान्यतः Hasanlu/Hasanlū तथा Tepe Hasanlu (“हसनलू का टीला”) के रूप में भी लिखा जाता है।
Definition
Hasanlu is a prominent ancient settlement mound in West Azerbaijan Province, Iran, excavated in the mid-20th century; it is especially noted for its Iron Age destruction level (often called “Hasanlu IV”) and the famous Hasanlu Gold Bowl.
हसनलू ईरान के पश्चिमी अज़रबैजान प्रांत में स्थित एक प्रमुख प्राचीन पुरास्थल (टीला/टेल) है, जिसकी खुदाई 20वीं शताब्दी के मध्य में हुई; यह विशेष रूप से लौह युग की विनाश-परत (अक्सर “हसनलू IV” कहलाती है) और प्रसिद्ध “हसनलू स्वर्ण कटोरे” के लिए जाना जाता है।
