Origin & History
From hard + headed (literally “having a hard head”), used from the late 16th–17th century to mean stubborn or not easily persuaded; later also “practical, realistic.”
hard + headed (शाब्दिक अर्थ: “कठोर/सख़्त सिर वाला”) से बना; 16वीं–17वीं शताब्दी से “जिद्दी/आसानी से न मानने वाला” के अर्थ में प्रयोग, और बाद में “व्यावहारिक, यथार्थवादी” अर्थ भी विकसित हुआ।
Definition
Hardheaded describes a person who refuses to be persuaded or to change their mind; it can also mean someone who is realistic and practical rather than emotional.
Hardheaded ऐसे व्यक्ति के लिए कहा जाता है जो आसानी से मानता नहीं और अपनी राय/फैसला बदलने से इनकार करता है; कभी-कभी इसका अर्थ यह भी होता है कि वह व्यक्ति भावुक होने की बजाय यथार्थवादी और व्यावहारिक है।
