Definition
A handmaid is a woman employed to serve, assist, or attend someone, especially in a household or in an old-fashioned or literary context; it can also be used figuratively as something that supports or helps another thing.
'हैंडमेड' (handmaid) ऐसी महिला सेविका/दासी होती है जो किसी की सेवा या सहायता करती है, विशेषकर घर-गृहस्थी में या पुराने/साहित्यिक संदर्भों में; कभी-कभी इसका प्रयोग रूपक रूप में भी होता है, किसी चीज़ के सहायक/सहचर के अर्थ में।
