Definition
Half-moon refers to the phase of the Moon in which about half of the visible surface is lit (first quarter or last quarter), and by extension to any object or shape resembling a semicircle.
हाफ-मून उस चंद्र-स्थिति को कहते हैं जिसमें पृथ्वी से चंद्रमा का लगभग आधा दिखाई देने वाला भाग प्रकाशित होता है (प्रथम या अंतिम तिमाही), और व्यापक अर्थ में किसी भी अर्धवृत्त/आधे चाँद जैसी आकृति को भी।
