From English guy (a rope or cable used to steady a structure) + line; “guy” in this sense is recorded from the 17th–18th centuries, and “guyline” is a later compound used especially in camping/tent contexts.

Definition
A guyline is a tensioned line (rope/cord/wire) that supports a tent, tarp, mast, pole, antenna, or similar upright structure by pulling it outward and anchoring it to stakes or other fixed points; it helps prevent swaying or collapse in wind.
गायलाइन (तंबू की रस्सी) वह खिंची हुई रस्सी/डोरी/तार है जो तंबू, तिरपाल, मस्तूल, खंभे, एंटीना आदि को बाहर की ओर खींचकर खूंटों या किसी स्थिर बिंदु से बाँधकर सहारा देती है; इससे हवा में डगमगाना या गिरना कम होता है।
