Definition
Describes animals (such as cattle) whose diet consists primarily of grass and other forage rather than grain-based feed; by extension, it can describe products (beef, milk, butter) that come from such animals.
यह उन पशुओं (जैसे गाय/मवेशी) के लिए कहा जाता है जिनका आहार मुख्यतः घास और अन्य चारे/चरागाह के पौधों पर आधारित होता है, अनाज-आधारित दाने के बजाय; इसी से बने उत्पादों (बीफ़/दूध/मक्खन) के लिए भी यह शब्द प्रयुक्त होता है।
