From geography + -ic; via Late Latin geographicus from Greek geōgraphikos (‘describing the earth’).
‘geography’ + ‘-ic’ से; लेटिन ‘geographicus’ के माध्यम से ग्रीक ‘geōgraphikos’ से, जिसका अर्थ है ‘पृथ्वी का वर्णन करने वाला’।
Definition
Relating to geography or the physical features/locations of the Earth; also used for directions/positions defined by the Earth’s surface (true north) rather than magnetic north.
भूगोल या पृथ्वी के भौतिक स्वरूप/स्थान-विशेष से संबंधित; साथ ही उन दिशाओं/स्थितियों के लिए भी प्रयुक्त जो चुंबकीय उत्तर के बजाय पृथ्वी के आधार पर (जैसे वास्तविक उत्तर) निर्धारित होती हैं।
