Definition
A gasifier is a machine or industrial unit that turns solid or liquid carbonaceous feedstocks (such as biomass, coal, or municipal waste) into a fuel gas by heating them with a controlled, limited supply of oxygen/air (and sometimes steam), producing syngas used for heat, power, or chemical synthesis.
गैसिफायर एक मशीन/औद्योगिक इकाई है जो कार्बनयुक्त कच्चे पदार्थों (जैसे बायोमास, कोयला या नगरपालिका कचरा) को नियंत्रित व सीमित मात्रा में ऑक्सीजन/हवा (और कभी-कभी भाप) के साथ उच्च ताप पर गैसीकरण करके ईंधन गैस (सिनगैस/प्रोड्यूसर गैस) में बदलती है, जिसका उपयोग ताप, बिजली या रसायन निर्माण में होता है।
