Definition
Froth is the light foam or bubbly layer on a liquid (like coffee, beer, or soap water); figuratively it can mean superficial, unimportant talk or activity. As a verb, it means to make a liquid foam, or to bubble/foam (sometimes with saliva when angry or ill).
