Definition
To fractionate means to split a complex mixture into smaller, more uniform fractions (parts) by using property differences such as boiling point, solubility, or particle size; in other fields it can mean breaking plaintext symbols into multiple ciphertext symbols, or using fractionation in hypnosis.
fractionate का अर्थ किसी मिश्रण को उसके घटकों/भागों (fractions) में अलग करना है, जहाँ उबलांक, घुलनशीलता या कण-आकार जैसी भौतिक/रासायनिक विशेषताओं के अंतर का उपयोग किया जाता है; अन्य क्षेत्रों में यह एन्क्रिप्शन में plaintext प्रतीक को कई ciphertext प्रतीकों में बाँटना, या सम्मोहन (hypnosis) में fractionation तकनीक का प्रयोग करना भी हो सकता है।
