Fortification means (1) the process or science of strengthening a place against attack by building defenses, (2) the defensive structures themselves (a fort, fortress, or fortified works), (3) strengthening something by adding extra material/ingredients (e.g., vitamin fortification of food), and (4) a jagged, shimmering visual pattern that can appear in migraine aura.
Fortification का अर्थ है (1) किसी स्थान को हमले से बचाने के लिए रक्षा-व्यवस्था बनाकर उसे मजबूत करने की प्रक्रिया/विज्ञान (किलेबंदी), (2) स्वयं वे रक्षा-निर्माण/संरचनाएँ (किला, दुर्ग, गढ़, या किलेबंदी के काम), (3) किसी चीज़ को अतिरिक्त पदार्थ/घटक मिलाकर अधिक प्रभावी या मजबूत करना (जैसे भोजन में विटामिन मिलाकर पोषण बढ़ाना), और (4) माइग्रेन ऑरा में दिखने वाला दाँतेदार/झिलमिलाता दृश्य-पैटर्न।
