Foothills are the smaller hills found at the foot (base) of a mountain range, forming a transition between plains and higher mountains.
फ़ुटहिल्स (पर्वत-तराई की पहाड़ियाँ) वे छोटी-छोटी पहाड़ियाँ होती हैं जो किसी पर्वत-श्रृंखला के पाद (आधार) में होती हैं और मैदान तथा ऊँचे पर्वतों के बीच संक्रमण क्षेत्र बनाती हैं।
